Founder's Story

Children’s Empowerment of the Philippines, Inc. was founded in 2021 by Spencer Holeman, who serves as its Executive Director. Mr. Holeman works closely with the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary of the Philippines who will oversee the program at St. Dominic Children’s Home as well as the educational component.

Spencer Holeman is a San Francisco native serial entrepreneur turned benefactor. His career spans from import and export of goods and then to the education sector, where he has supported hundreds of students through after-school tutoring, meal programs, college preparation, and scholarships. His beneficiaries have grown to become Physicians, Scholars, Entrepreneurs, and Athletes.

He continues his legacy overseas in the Philippines, a country he visited in 2019, and witnessed the child homelessness situation in Iloilo City.
