Prior to a major fire which closed the original orphanage, it only provided care for girls. However, after the new building was constructed it was built to accommodate both boys and girls thereby offering the opportunity for care to all children in need.

With the construction of the new building at the orphanage, a nursery was also included which can accommodate infants as well.

At this time the orphanage at Iloilo is the only location supported by Children’s Empowerment of the Philippines, Inc., however, it is the long-term goal to extend support to other locations as well as the organization grows.
